Phone Of Driver, 20, Killed In Wreck Notified Officials After NJ Car Crash: Prosecutor

A 20-year-old Virginia man was killed in a single-vehicle crash last week in New Jersey, authorities said.

Scott Segreaves Jr. of Zuni, VA, was involved in a single-vehicle wreck on Stamets Road in Holland Township on Friday, Oct. 18 around 10:25 p.m., the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said.

Hunterdon County Communications was notified of the crash by the driver's cell phone carrier crash notification system.

Members of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office’s Forensic Analysis Collision Team (F.A.C.T.), Holland Township Police, New Jersey State Police, and Milford Fire Department responded to the scene.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office and the Holland Township Police Department.
